(A) The person who travelled to Delhi did not travel by boat.
(B) C went to Bengaluru by car and B went to Kolkata by aeroplane.
(C) D travelled by boat and E travelled by train
(D) Goa is not connected by bus to Delhi and Pune.
Now, which of the following pair of person and mode of transport is NOT correct?

Correct Option: 4
C travels to Bengaluru by car and B travels to Kolkata by aeroplane. We know D travels by boat and E travels by train. Bus cannot connect to Delhi or Pune from Goa, and Delhi cannot be reached by boat.
Let's map: C is fixed with Bengaluru and car, B is fixed with Kolkata and aeroplane, D must use boat which can't go to Delhi, so D must go to Pune by boat. Since E uses train and Delhi is the only major city remaining without transport, E must go to Delhi by train. This leaves Mumbai for A, and since bus is the only transport left, A must go to Mumbai by bus.
Looking at all pairs: \newline A travels by bus to Mumbai - correct \newline B travels by aeroplane to Kolkata - correct \newline D travels by boat to Pune - correct \newline E travels by train to Delhi - correct, so E-car is incorrect
Therefore, E-car is NOT the correct pairing, making it the answer.
